The idea of this project was to construct the title of a novel through Local Kineticism—the distortion or manipulation of individual letter forms; only using objects to construct the words while implying meaning to the title.

I chose the book 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and I was inspired by the magical realism of his writing style. This Stop-Motion sequence shows each individual letter coming together to reveal the final title.
