I am an Infinite Loop is the practical component of my graduate thesis, based on the exploration of the visual language of repetition. My goal was to create a motion artwork that applied repetition as a technique, concept and form, to demonstrate its applicability and importance in the practice of artistic expression.
This handmade motion piece uses the Phonotrope technique over a turntable and was shot in one take with a single camera. No especial effects where added to this animation.
Techniques & Tools: Phonotrope | Turntable | Camera Canon 70 D | Laser Cutter for paper shapes and MDF structures | 3D Printed objects | 2D Printed illustrations | Cinema 4D | Adobe Illustrator | Premier Pro
