Visualization and Concept Story boarding

The aimed was to develop storyboards and style frames for the proposal of a time-based interpretation of an artwork. The idea was to take 2-3 works of art that were still, or timeless, and develop a personal interpretation of the chosen pieces to result in a pitch for a time-based project. We were assigned to create mood boards, style frames, and storyboards, and encouraged to be imaginative and experimental with our proposals.

I chose to combine 3 Artists, Edwin Butler Bayliss, Banksy and  Carlos Jacanamijoy; and referenced the movies Brazil, by Terry Gilliam and The Truman Show, by Peter Weir.

My concept was inspired by the idea of a dystopian futuristic world, where cities are encapsulated in domes to isolate people from a destroyed and contaminated industrialized world. The dome was camouflaged by projected diverse vegetative and abstract landscapes, to make people believe "nature" surrounded them. The main character is a girl on a mission to discover what is behind these deceiving walls
